INTERESTED IN MERCHANDISING?

MERCHANDISING TRAINING PROGRAM:

Upon acceptance to our Merchandising Training Program, you will begin your career at Sports Authority in a 10-week full-time training period. Your new position will be located at our Store Support Center in Englewood, CO where you will gain intensive retail experience that will prepare you for a long career at Sports Authority. Through structured experiences in the Buying offices, the Planning and Replenishment areas, and the Stores, you will work with retail professionals who provide real life experiences and on-the-job training. You will also receive computer training on our state-of-the-art systems, be partnered with a formal mentor, and complete essential business projects. After successful completion of the training period, you will be placed as a full-time Product Allocator and launch your career.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in retail operations preferred.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
